Published 4th Feb 2013

Stone Sour have announced full details of the second instalment of their double album, ‘House of Gold & Bones Part 2’.

Just like its predecessor ‘… Part 1’, the 12-track record was recorded at Sound Farm Studios near the band’s native Des Moines with David Bottrill.

!The album will be released through Roadrunner Records on 8th April and will be preceded by the single ‘Do Me A Favor’ on 12th February.

Summing up the album as a whole, guitarist Josh Rand said: "House of Gold & Bones takes everything that's great about this band and amplifies it.

“The riffs, the lyrics, the grooves and the songs are like Stone Sour times ten. There's also heavy stuff that's like nothing we've ever done before - it's dark as hell and a complete experience from the first track to the last."

Band lynchpin Corey Taylor recently described the new album as “much darker” and “completely different” to the first part.

Stone Sour play Download Festival on Sunday 16th June following Slipknot’s headline performance on the Friday night. Tickets are available from kerrrangradio.co.uk/tickets now!
