Rod Stewart plays AI video of Ozzy taking selfies with dead stars
Bizarre tribute at Rod’s live show features Kurt Cobain, Michael Jackson and more
A lot of musicians have been paying tribute to Ozzy Osbourne over the past two weeks, whether on social media, during interviews or from the stage if they’re currently on tour.
Rod Stewart responded soon after the news broke that Ozzy had passed away, posting: “Bye bye Ozzy. Sleep well, my friend. I’ll see you up there – later rather than sooner.”
On his current US tour, Stewart has also been dedicating ‘Forever Young’ to the late Black Sabbath singer.
The tribute had been accompanied by a carousel of Ozzy pics but at shows last week, a rather more bizarre AI video was aired during the song.

As captured by numerous fans, the collage featured Ozzy in heaven, taking selfies with a series of dead music stars.
These included Kurt Cobain, Prince, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Bob Marley, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Amy Winehouse and rapper XXXTentacion.
One person who posted a clip of the segment said they had “witnessed man made horrors beyond my comprehension”.
The full AI video, titled 'Eternal Stars', appears to have been posted a week ago on Instagram by the bowierecords account.
The Charlotte Observer noted in a review of Stewart’s July 29 show that the singer added an observation on that occasion, telling the crowd: “Very sad. A lot of those people died ’cause of drugs…I’m still here, though!”
