Following hundreds of entries from some of the best upcoming UK rock acts, we’re pleased to announce that Passionflower are the worthy winners of Kerrang! Radio’s The Deal 2026!

Launched in January, hundreds of acts from a diverse array of rock subgenres entered a song in Kerrang! Radio and Marshall Records’ The Deal competition, before 50 finalists were whittled down for the public vote in February.

After five rounds of closely fought heats throughout the spring, the final 10 bands had their submitted songs judged by a panel that included representatives from Marshall, Download Festival and Live Nation, plus Kerrang! Radio presenters.

Thanks to their searing submitted song ‘Amor’, genre-straddling Warrington rockers Passionflower have won this year’s The Deal.

The victorious quartet will record an EP at Marshall Records' studios that will also be marketed by the legendary imprint.

Passionflower will also have the prestigious honour of opening The Avalanche Stage at Download Festival on Saturday 13th June, and they will receive on-air plays on Kerrang! Radio’s airwaves.

Passionflower have carved out their own path in the music community by merging the infectiousness of 00’s-soaked Emo & Pop Punk with the urgency of Post hardcore, never shying away from breaking the chains that people have placed on them.

This is evident on the band’s debut full length record ‘To Bloom Is To Grow’, a collection of songs that spark emotions that have long remained dormant with a sound that fans have grown to love whilst continually redefining their sound.

2023 saw the band debut the critically acclaimed single ‘Amor’, which they won The Deal with in 2026.

Huge congratulations to Passionflower from all the team at Kerrang! Radio. We'd also like to thank all the bands who submitted entries, and to the many thousands of you that voted in the heats.
