Dave Grohl’s mouth-watering collaboration with Slipknot and Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor has been unveiled – listen to it below!

Also featuring Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen and former Kyuss bassist Scott Reeder, the song ‘From Can To Can’t’ is available to download from iTunes right now.

‘From Can To Can’t’ is lifted from 'Sound City - Real to Reel'; Grohl’s soundtrack album to accompany his documentary movie about the world-famous Sound City studios in Los Angeles.

Metallica’s ‘Death Magnetic’, Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rumours’, Neil Young’s ‘After The Gold Rush’, Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ and Rage Against The Machine’s self titled debut are amongst the many albums recorded at the legendary studios.

'Sound City - Real to Reel' also features ‘Cut Me Some Slack’, the track that united Nirvana (Grohl, Pat Smear and Krist Novoselic) and Beatle Sir Paul McCartney at the 12-12-12 Sandy benefit concert in New York on 12th December.

Grohl's Sound City Players supergroup boasts the likes of Stevie Nicks, Taylor Hawkins, John Fogerty, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Alain Johannes, Chris Goss, Rick Nielsen and Brad Wilk.

The collective will play at the premiere of Sound City at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah on Friday (18th January). They’re also rumoured for a slot at Coachella in April.
