Headlined by Trivium, Machine Head and Gojira, Bloodstock Open Air took place at its long-term home of Catton Park in Derbyshire this month.
Boasting some of the finest heavy bands on the planet, Bloodstock was a triumph once again with an almost unparalleled friendly atmosphere, glorious weather and fiery music.
Kerrang! Radio sent our two esteemed photographers Darren Griffiths and Lindsay Smith into the pit of the Ronnie James Dio Stage and the Sophie Lancaster Stage to capture the weekend in all its fearsome glory.
Next year’s Bloodstock takes place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th August 2026, with Judas Priest, Lamb of God and Slaughter to Prevail topping the bill.
