Birmingham’s Mostly Jazz, Funk & Soul festival is returning to Moseley Park across the 10-12 July with Jazz FM once again confirmed as a broadcast partner.
The weekend is set to be another music-filled celebration as the team bring us their sixteenth edition, with headline sets confirmed from Soul II Soul on the Friday night, Jordan Rakei on Saturday and Jazz FM’s 2025 soul artist of the year Jalen Ngonda on Sunday, plus Cymande, Sampa The Great, Emma-Jean Thackray, Goldie, Knats, Dan Casimir Big Band, Don West and more all appearing over the weekend.
It’s also just been confirmed that broadcaster Tony Minvielle will be on site once again, bringing his Jazz FM Sunday morning show live from the festival site with backstage interviews and exclusive sessions.
Tony says: “All in all, this year’s vibe looks set to surpass last year’s by a country mile. We at Jazz FM are hugely grateful to the fantastic Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul Festival family for inviting us back to broadcast live from the site, ensuring we don’t miss a moment of the incredible music and stories unfolding that weekend. You’ll find us in the Yoga Hut on the right as you enter the site — don’t forget to give us a wave!”
