The six-date run begins in Gateshead on 6 May 2027 and takes in Glasgow, Liverpool, Bristol and Birmingham before culminating in a prestigious London performance at the Royal Albert Hall on 13 May. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 16 October, with fans able to experience the iconic player and bandleader performing many of the hits that made them one of the most successful instrumental acts in music history.
As part of the show, Alpert is celebrating the enduring legacy of Whipped Cream & Other Delights, the landmark album that recently marked its 60th anniversary. Audiences can expect classics including “Spanish Flea”, “Taste of Honey”, “The Lonely Bull”, “Tijuana Taxi”, “Mexican Shuffle” and “This Guy’s In Love With You”, alongside favourites from across Alpert’s remarkable catalogue. Since reforming in 2025, Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass have enjoyed a hugely successful return to the stage, playing more than 70 sold-out shows across North America.
Now aged 90, Alpert remains one of music’s most celebrated and influential figures. A nine-time Grammy winner, co-founder of A&M Records and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, he has sold more than 72 million records worldwide. The tour follows the release of his 50th studio album, 50, a project that also celebrated 50 years of marriage to his wife and longtime collaborator Lani Hall.
