Confessions II: Madonna captivates Times Square in special performance
Thousands flocked to watch the surprise live show ahead of the release of her highly anticipated new album
Madonna captivated a massive audience in Times Square, New York, last night with a surprise live performance that unveiled three new tracks from her upcoming album, Confessions II.
The show saw Madonna step onto the stage dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana corset, alongside live dancers and theatrical production.
Madonna's partnership with Grindr underscored the event as not just a music reveal but a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, which she said has 'been with me from the beginning'.
Madonna told the audience: “We’ve inspired, challenged and stood by each other during both dark and joyful times.
"Partnering with Grindr feels like a celebration of that connection – safety in numbers.”
Grindr CEO George Arison added: “Madonna chose to bring Confessions II to her fans through Grindr, and tonight, Times Square was the Global Gayborhood.”
Confessions II is set to release on 3rd July.
