First-look at Jack Ryan: Ghost War feature film for Prime Video
Sienna Miller co-stars in the next chapter
After four successful seasons of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, the franchise expands with its first feature film, Ghost War. The story sees the CIA analyst-turned-operative pulled back into the field for his most personal mission yet, with John Krasinski returning to lead the ensemble cast.
Based on the iconic character created by bestselling author Tom Clancy, the film continues a franchise that has spanned blockbuster novels, multiple big-screen adaptations and four seasons of the hit Prime Video series.
What is Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan about?
Jack Ryan follows a brilliant but reluctant CIA analyst who keeps getting dragged out from behind his desk and into the field when his investigations uncover global threats.
Across Tom Clancy’s novels, film adaptations and the Prime Video series, he tracks suspicious money trails and covert operations that spiral into high-stakes international crises, forcing him to rely on both his intellect and Marine training to stop terrorists, corrupt regimes and rogue agencies.
What can I expect in Ghost War?
Prime Video's official synopsis reads: 'Jack Ryan is reluctantly thrust back into the world of espionage when an international covert mission unravels a deadly conspiracy, forcing him to confront a rogue black-ops unit, and the clock is ticking. Operating in real time with lives on the line and the threat escalating at every turn, Jack reunites with battle-tested CIA operative Mike November (Michael Kelly) and former CIA boss James Greer (Wendell Pierce), their combined experience the only edge they have against an enemy who knows their every move'.
Adding: 'Backed by an unlikely new partner – razor-sharp MI6 officer Emma Marlowe (Sienna Miller) – Jack and the team navigate a treacherous web of betrayal, facing a past they thought was long put to rest – making this the most personal, high-stakes mission any of them have ever faced.'
