Although Married At First Sight doesn't have the greatest success rate when it comes to the future of the couples, it had looked like MAFS Australia pair Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels were about to defy the odds.

After sailing through the season 12 experiment, Rhi and Jeff seemed super loved-up, moving in together and discussing their future, but now it looks like things have turned sour.

According to reports and some pretty telling Instagram activity, which has saw the pair unfollow each other and begin to remove content together, it looks like Rhi and Jeff have parted ways.

Reports from Daily Mail Australia suggest the pair have been living apart for a number of weeks, with a source telling the publication: "Jeff was not putting in any effort with Rhi. They stopped going out on dates."

Despite the pair not yet confirming anything, fans were worried for the couple following Rhi's recent social media post.

Sharing a number of photos and reflective quotes, Rhi wrote things like: 'Choosing relationships that feel calm and safe. Not confusing inconsistency or mixed signals for love', and 'Learning to enjoy my own company. Not needing constant noise, plans or validation to feel okay'.

However, Jeff did comment on the post just six days ago, writing: '👏👏👏 love this 💪'.

Rhi and Jeff made history on the dating show during series 12. Although the show is called 'Married At First Sight', a year before filming for the show took place, Rhi and Jeff actually dated briefly for a month, but things fizzled out, leading to the pair to friend zoning each other.

Speaking on the show, Rhi admitted the timing wasn't right for the pair at the time they dated, going on to reveal they are still good friends, even running a marathon together and going for coffee.

Take a look at which MAFS Australia couples are still together:

Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant: Series 6

Oh, Cameron and Jules. From the minute Jules and Cam had their first wedding dance without any music, we had an inkling they were in it for the long haul. And we were right! The pair got married properly after the show, and they are now proud parents to sons Ollie and Carter.

Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli: Series 6

Martha and Michael were an extremely drama free pair (in comparison to everyone else) so it's no shock that they have actually managed to stay together. They are now living together in Sydney whilst becoming full-time influencers. The couple are now engaged and welcomed a son called Lucius in February 2023.

After announcing in 2025 they were expecting their second child, Martha gave birth to a baby girl called Sunday Maria Brunelli in March 2026. The happy couple announced the news on social media with some adorable photos, writing: 'Our girl is here. Sunday Maria Brunelli, two weeks early and completely perfect. We are smitten'.

Melissa Rawson and Bryce Ruthven: Series 8

Despite Bryce repeatedly putting down Melissa's appearance during the show and more dramatic showdowns than we've had hot dinners - the on-off couple are surprisingly stronger then ever. The pair welcomed twin boys called Levi and Tate in 2021, before getting married for real in February 2023.

Kerry Knight and Johnny Balbuziente: Series 8

Kerry and Johnny were an intruder couple on series eight of MAFS Aus, and following a pretty drama free experiment, the pair left the show as an official couple. The pair went to get married for real in January 2023, before welcoming a daughter called Chloe Rossi Balbuziente in June 2024.

Jade Barredo and Ridge Pywell: Series 11

Jade and Ridge entered the MAFS experiment as an intruder couple during the 11th series in 2023. The couple made it all the way to the final vows and have remained together to this day. In May 2024, Ridge announced he'd moved in with Jade and her daughter Victoria, and the pair have spoken about getting married for real in the future.

Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbels: Series 12

In a MAFS first, it actually wasn't 'married at first sight' for series 12 contestants Rhi and Jeff, as shockingly the pair had previously dated before signing up for the experiment. Despite having reservations at first, Rhi and Jeff sailed through the experiment and were one of the most successful couples during the 2025 series.

The pair moved in together and looked happier than ever, until reports in early June 2026 suggested that the pair had split. However, they are yet to publicly comment on the rumours.

Stella Mickunaite and Filip Gregov: Series 13

Stella and Filip were one of the strongest couples from the 13th series in 2026, communicating through any issues brilliantly and making viewers fall in love with them. It was no surprise when the pair sailed through the experiment, making it to the final vow ceremony, but what happened next left viewers in shock! After declaring their love for one another during their vows, Filip then got down on one knee and proposed for real! An excited Stella yelled "YES", before the pair shared a hug and kiss!

Taking to Instagram after the show had aired, Stella wrote: 'We came in ready to love bravely…We are leaving with the love we were seeking in this lifetime Funny how the unknown turned into home. 💍🤍 P.S. Guys… the best kept secret is finally out 🤍 And honestly? It was surprisingly easy not to share it straight away. We got to sit in our little love bubble, just us — no noise, no pressure — while building our new life in Sydney, quietly and intentionally. Like everything in life- nothing is given & everything that is worth something … well you have to work for it. So glad we did 🤍 Now that it's out…we're so excited for everything that's coming next ❤️'. (sic)
