Abbey Road Studios is hosting its first ever rave tonight.

Music fans will have a rare chance to dance where legends have recorded.

The famous London studio will welcome just 340 lucky clubbers through its doors for the party.

'Abbey Road After Hours' is being put together by electronic pioneers Soulwax, who say it was an opportunity they could not refuse.

Fans wanting a spot had to go old school and phone a special hotline, in a nod to the method of discovering secret locations of raves in the late 1980s and early 90s.

It's reported around 4000 people tried to get tickets, with demand more than 10 times the available capacity.

The event tonight will be a first for the iconic venue synonymous with The Beatles which has welcomed everyone from Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder, Kate Bush, Oasis, Lady Gaga and Amy Winehouse over the decades.
