Harlan Coben's first true crime documentary series is arriving on ITV

With over 100 novels to his name and TV adaptations such as Fool Me Once, The Stranger, Stay Close and Missing You, author Harlan Coben is now branching out into the world of true crime.
His first ever true crime series, titled Harlan Coben's Final Twist, aired over in American earlier this year, and now ITV/STV have accrued the rights to show it in the UK.
What is Harlan Coben's Final Twist?
Harlan Coben's Final Twist is a true crime documentary series, hosted by Harlan himself. Series one is made up of five episodes.
Billy & Billie Jean
'When police find a couple murdered in their home, the investigation leads to social media. Detectives discover a bizarre cyber bullying conflict with a neighbouring family and the possible covert involvement of a CIA agent driven by personal vengeance'.
Gambler’s Debt
'When Anna Mae, a wildly successful businesswoman, is found stabbed in her untouched home, detectives face a tangle of suspects and shifting motives. Each lead – casinos, hidden debts and even a fugitive linked to her family – seems to crack the case, until new questions upend everything once again'.
No Sign of Nancy
'Everyone loved Nancy, living in wine country, but when she vanishes from her property while hosting a wedding, dozens of workers and guests are all suspects. But it will take months of painstaking detective work, and new technology called “geo fencing,” to finally find the elusive culprit'.
The final two episodes are called Who Killed Joy and Shot in the Dark.

What other shows does Harlan Coben have?
Although this is his first true crime series, Harlan is well-known for a number of award-winning TV shows. Made from adaptations of his best-selling novels, the most notable include Fool Me Once with Michelle Keegan, Run Away with James Nesbitt, and Missing You with Richard Armitage.
Earlier this year it was announced that Harlan had teamed up with Michelle once again, as they adapt his 2007 novel The Woods.
