Emotional trailer released for new documentary about Friends star Matthew Perry
It features interviews with his sister and friends
Earlier this month it was announced that late Friends star Matthew Perry would be the subject of a new documentary on Netflix - The One About Matthew Perry.
The three-part series will include interviews with Matthew's sister Mia Perry Bowick, along with other close friends and family of the actor. It also includes some family archive footage, which can be seen in the trailer.

Since the trailer was released fans have been leaving loads of messages in the comments. One fan wrote: 'I hope Netflix did a good job on this. RIP Matthew, we still miss you and you'll forever be in our hearts.'

When is the documentary out?
The documentary will be released on Netflix on Tuesday 27th October 2026.
