MAFS Australia fans react to Gia's 'big secret' during wedding to Scott
She was nervous to tell her new husband she is a mum
The 13th series of Married At First Sight Australia kicked off here in the UK on Monday 9th March, and although we are only two episodes down, already the drama is SERVING with this year's brides and grooms.
Whilst viewers were introduced to Alissa and David and Rachel and Steven on Monday night, the second episode saw the experts match Mel and Luke, and Gia and Scott.
With expert Alessandra Rampolla predicting Gia and Scott could have the greatest sexual chemistry ever to grace the show, the pair prepared for their big day at separate locations, but things didn't get off to the greatest of starts for Gia.
Despite being calm whilst getting her make-up applied, Gia was left annoyed when her high-energy friends arrived full of excitement and filled with champagne, which resulted in her Man of Honour Will calling her a 'bridezilla' and going into a full meltdown...
After kissing and making up, Gia travelled to the stunning beach venue to meet her new husband, who was stood waiting for her at the altar.
Although Gia had a loud and dramatic entrance due to the wind blowing her veil and dress, the pair seemed to have an instant spark at first sight, with both Gia and Scott expressing their delight about each other to producers.
Following the ceremony and some pretty telling vows, the pair shared a little kiss, much to the delight of their family and friends.
Later on in the episode, as Gia and Scott enjoyed their wedding reception, Gia admitted she was nervous to tell her new husband she's a mum, worrying the secret would be spilled by one of her wedding guests.
Despite coming up with a plan to tell Scott about her daughter at the end of the evening, Gia's secret was revealed to Scott's family before their chat (thanks to her uncle), meaning she had to reveal all to him before she wanted.
Although she was nervous and emotional during her chat with Scott, the business owner from Queensland was quick to reassure his new wife, telling her he's been in a relationship in the past where his partner has been a mum, and it's not something that bothers him.
After seeing their wedding and reception unfold, fans of the show were quick to react, with many wondering why Gia was so nervous.
One wrote: 'Why is she crying ! She should be proud !!!', with another adding: 'She should be proud not acting like her child is a problem'. A third wrote: 'I would not care to disclose I have a child, if the man would not accept GOOD BYE ✋🏽'. (sic)
Others were quick to express their delight at the match, with one writing: 'I love these two', and another adding: 'I actually think these two could work'. (sic)
MAFS Australia airs every Monday-Thursday at 7.30pm on E4.
