Two toddlers injured in 'bulldog' attack on Merseyside

Two toddlers have been rushed to hospital after being attacked by a dog on Merseyside.

Emergency services were called to a back garden in Prescot on Thursday (01 May).

The boys, aged two and three, were found with puncture wounds and lacerations to their arms and legs.

An 18-year-old girl also recieved minor injuries.

The dog has since been seized to be destroyed and a police investigation is underway.
