Three teenagers have now been arrested in connection with a sword attack near a school in Gloucester.

Police were called to Chalford Road in the Tuffley area of the city, near St Peter's Catholic High, shortly after 8:50 am yesterday morning (Friday 6th November 2026).

It was reported that two males, one armed with a sword, chased two 17-year-old boys before fleeing the scene on foot.

One of the teens sustained a superficial wound from the weapon, while the other was unharmed.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, joining two other men, aged 18 and 19, who were previously detained and remain in police custody.

A woman initially arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The police urge anyone with information to contact them through an online form quoting reference 53260095808.
