Three charged with murder after man's body found in wheelie bin in Coventry park

Three people have been charged with murder after a man's body was found in a wheelie bin in a Coventry park.

Police launched an investigation after the body of 37-year-old Thomas Niven was found by a member of the public in a Cash's park off Daimler Road last Friday (March 13) evening.

Tammy Sturdy, aged 45, Camron Sturdy, aged 21 and Shane Turkington, aged 37 have been charged with murder.

The three, all from Coventry, have been remanded in custody and are due to appear at Coventry Magistartes Court tomorrow (March 19) morning.

Police say specially trained officers are continuing to support Tom's family and officers are urging anyone who has information to contact them.
