A third person has been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting in Swansea.

The incident, which occurred at around 4.15pm yesterday afternoon (Friday 6th November 2026) on the A48 Clase Road in the Morriston area of the city, has led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man from Swansea on suspicion of affray and possessing an offensive weapon.

He was taken into custody on Saturday morning, joining a 41-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy from Llansamlet, who were arrested hours after the incident on separate charges.

Both remain in police custody, while detectives continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the events.

The injuries of one individual who presented themselves to authorities are reportedly unrelated to the firearms incident, and police are not aware of any other injuries linked to the case.

South Wales Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage, to assist with their investigation.

Chief Superintendent Stephen Jones explained that the investigation is being carried out by a dedicated Major Crime Investigation Team, and that visible policing will be maintained in the area for reassurance.

South Wales Police are also addressing rumours and speculation circulating on social media, encouraging people to rely on official updates instead.

Witnesses or anyone with information can contact South Wales Police via their Major Incident Public Portal or anonymously through Crimestoppers.
