A Telford mum who murdered her baby daughter has been jailed for life.

32-year-old Sarah Ngaba will spend a minimum of 12 years in prison - after already spending six in custody.

It's after seven-week-old Eliza Ngaba suffered a severe head injury in November 2019.

She died a couple of years later from an infection after her injuries left her vulnerable.

Ms Ngaba denied murder, but had pleaded guilty to an alternative charge of infanticide.

A jury though at Birmingham Crown Court found her guilty of murder by a majority verdict.
