Southampton man in 'life threatening' condition after road incident

A man in his 30s is in a life threatening condition in hospital after a road incident in Southampton.

The man reportedly had serious injuries after leaving his Ford Transit van which was driving between Blackfield and Holbury.

It happened at around 9.39pm on Thursday 1st May 2025.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident. Were you traveling along Long Lane, in either direction? Do you recall seeing a white Ford Transit (flatbed) which was transporting a motorbike? Did you see the incident itself, or do you have any dash cam footage which could assist us in our enquiries?
