Ninth arrest made following fatal Sheffield shooting

A ninth person has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Sheffield.

Kassim Mohammed, aged 32, was fatally shot on 30 September on Watery Street.

Yesterday (Friday 14 November) a 29 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.

A total of nine people have now been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection to Kassim's death.

Seven men aged 18, 20, 22, 27, 30, 31 and 35, and a 31-year old woman have been arrested and all since been bailed while enquiries continue.

Detectives are still appealing for anyone who may have information, dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage to get in touch.
