Police appeal for information on major airfield fire in Salisbury
Two hangars and a cafe at Old Sarum airfield have been destroyed
Police and firefighters are working together to investigate a major fire at an historic First World War airfield in Salisbury.
Two hangars and a café at Old Sarum have been destroyed after it started last night (Thursday 17th April)
The cause of last night's fire isn't yet known - and no arrests have been made so far.
Almost 24 hours on, Wiltshire Police are appealing for information from the public on what happened.

We are appealing for witnesses following a large fire at Old Sarum airfield last night (17/04).
The fire broke out just after 6pm in partially derelict wartime hangars. The two hangars, as well as the Hangar 3 cafe were destroyed, and the building used by another business was badly damaged.
An investigation is now underway into the cause of the fire, and we would like to speak to anyone who was in the area shortly before the fire started.
