Northumberland man arrested after stabbing on coach on the M6 Toll near Cannock

Police responded to the incident just after 8am this morning

A man has been arrested after another male was stabbed on a coach on the M6 Toll near to Cannock this morning.

Staffordshire Police were called out at 8.15am to reports a man had been stabbed in the shoulder on the M6 Toll southbound between T8 and T7.

The man is in hospital his condition is stable his injuries are described as 'not believed to be life threatening.'

A man from Northumberland aged 41 years-old, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.

The M6 Toll has since been re-opened after being closed for a short while.
