Library book returned to Norfolk, UK, after being handed in 3000 miles away

A book from a library in Norfolk's been returned - after a 3000 mile detour to the United States.

The copy of Animal Ark was lent out in Swaffham but ended up being handed in at Norfolk Library in Connecticut.

Posting on social media, Norfolk Library and Information said: "Quite how someone got confused and returned it to the wrong place, we have no idea."

It was returned to them by a holidaymaker from our county, who just happened to be visiting his sister in the state.
