Murder investigation launched following stabbing in Camden

A 44-year-old man died from injuries he was found with yesterday afternoon

A murder investigation is underway after a man died in a stabbing in Camden in north-west London.

A 44 year old was found with injuries at Camden Gardens at 3.29pm yesterday afternoon (Saturday 27th September 2025).

A spokesperson for the Met Police has confirmed the man sadly passed away in hospital.

A post-mortem and formal identification of the victim will take place in due course.

Detectives have not yet made any arrests and are urgently looking for a suspect.

Borough Commander Jason Sewart, who leads policing in Camden has said:

“My team are working at pace to establish the full circumstances that led to this man’s tragic death in Camden Gardens.

“Our thoughts remain with the victim’s family and friends at this very difficult time. They continue to be supported by specialist officers.

“A crime scene remains in place and residents can expect to see increased patrols in the local area as we carry out enquiries.

“We urge anyone in or around Camden Gardens to look at any CCTV camera footage and share anything that may be of use with police.

“This was an isolated incident and we do not believe there to be any threat to the wider public."
