Man in court on Boxing Day charged over Birmingham murder investigation

West Midlands Police has charged a man with murder following a stabbing in Birmingham which left a man dead.

29-year-old Kiirpaal Nhian was found with serious injuries in Swanage Road, Small Heath, at around 6.40pm on Saturday 20 December.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives detained a 23-year-old man on suspicion of murder and possession of a knife.

Abdou Sillah, of Birmingham, has now been charged with the offences and has been remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Boxing Day, Friday 26 December.
