Man dies after collision near Gillingham

A man has died after a crash involving a car and motorbike near Gillingham.

The vehicles collided in Milton-on-Stour just after 2.30 yesterday afternoon.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, died at the scene - police are appealing for witnesses.

Dorset police stated:

"Dorset Police received a report at 2.32pm on Friday 20 March 2026 of a collision on the B3092 in the area of Milton-on-Stour north of Gillingham, involving a silver Peugeot 308 and a black Triumph motorcycle.

"Emergency services attended and very sadly the motorcyclist – a man aged in his 30s – was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed."
