Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing in Shrewsbury have charged a man with murder.

A 34 year old died after being found injured at a home in Lambourn Drive late on Thursday night (1st May 2025).

Kai Sainz-Stafford, who's 24 and has no fixed address - is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court tomorrow (Monday 5th May 2025) charged with murder.

At the time an investigation was launched, Superintendent Paul Judge from West Mercia Police said:

“Firstly, our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who lost his life.
