Man charged with attempted murder after teen shot in Corby

Police have charged a 20-year-old man with attempted murder after a teenager was shot in Corby.

The 17-year-old boy was injured in Hazel Wood near Westcott Way, on 11 April.

He was expected to make a full recovery.

Matas Sukaitis, of Chaucer Close, Corby, was also charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of a bladed article.

Sukaitis appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (May 17) and was remanded into custody.
