Man charged with attempted murder after 15 year old stabbed in Birmingham

A man's been charged with attempted murder after a fifteen-year-old was stabbed in Birmingham.

The boy was attacked around Morris Park in Alum Rock on Friday.

Idris Urfan, who's 21, has now been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife.

He has been remanded in custody and is due before Birmingham Magistrates today (10 March).

Two other teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, have been arrested this morning and are being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.

Both are in custody.

The boy who was stabbed remains in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
