A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Hammersmith earlier this year.

39 year old Apapale Adoum, of no fixed address, was charged on Thursday, 5 June with the murder of Victoria Adams, aged 36.

Adoum appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 6 June.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 10 June.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "On Sunday, 9 February at 22:13hrs, police were called to a residential property in Coulter Road, following reports that a man was attempting to force entry into one of the flats. Officers arrived and having gained entry to the property found a woman, aged 36, who had sadly died. "

A 38-year-old man was initially arrested on Sunday, 9 February at the scene on suspicion of murder and later charged.
