Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Swindon

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Swindon.

Police responded to reports of gunshot fire in St Paul's Street, Gorse Hill just before 9pm on Friday evening.

A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital with a suspected gunshot wound. His condition is described as serious but stable.
