Man arrested in connection with bus-stabbing incident in Birmingham

Teenager hospitalised following altercation

A man in his 50s is in custody following a stabbing incident on a bus in Birmingham yesterday.

Police were alerted to the incident on Dunlop Way at 3.40pm, reporting the stabbing of a teenage boy who had been involved in an argument with another passenger.

Arrest and investigation

Responding officers attended the scene, and the injured teenager was transported to hospital; his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The suspect was arrested shortly afterward at Chelmsley Wood bus station. He remains in custody as police continue their inquiries.
