Drivers are facing long delays this morning on the M5 near Bristol,

National Highways is warning people to allow extra time or find another route, as police manage the situation near Bristol Port.

Traffic cameras show long queues on the M5 slip roads, with congestion stretching back to the M49 interchange.

The protest, which started early this morning, is believed to be led by farmers, with tractors blocking access to Portbury Docks.

Similar demonstrations are taking place elsewhere in the country over issues including imports and inheritance tax.
