M1 closed in both directions near East Midlands Airport following cattle trailer collision

The M1 is now closed in both directions near the M1 following a collision, which involved a trailer carrying cattle.

The truck overturned between junctions 23 and 23a.

Emergency services initially closed the northbound carriageway but it has now been shut in both directions.
