A suspect linked to a fatal shooting in Knockholt has now been formally identified.

On Friday 14 February, Lisa Smith, 43, was killed after she was shot outside The Three Horseshoes pub in Main Road.

Enquiries have established that the suspect was Edward Smith, who was married to Lisa.

Later that evening officers found his car abandoned on the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge.

Mr Smith, 43, had fallen into the water below and his body was recovered from the River Thames on Friday (7 March).
