A man from Ilkeston has been charged with several offences following a car collision involving a bowling alley on Derby Road.

The incident occurred on Friday, 12th June 2026, leading to Callum Thompson, aged 21, being charged and remanded in prison custody.

Thompson's charges include causing serious injury by dangerous driving, criminal damage recklessly endangering life, failing to provide a specimen for analysis, and assault.

Callum Thompson is scheduled to appear at Derby Magistrates Court on Monday, 15th June 2026.
