Man accused of murdering Graham Wright and dumping body in two locations
David McColl is charged with killing the 38 year old in the Gorbals, before dismembering him and disposing of his remains in Castlemilk and at Loch Lomond
A suspect accused of murdering a man and dumping his remains in two locations has appeared in court for a second time.
David McColl allegedly assaulted Graham Wright 38, at a property in Glasgow's Gorbals between August 20 and September 13 2025.
The 50 year-old was back in the dock again at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.
He was fully committed for trial. No further date was set meantime.
Prosecutors state McColl left Mr Wright "fatally injured" by means unknown.
McColl faces a separate accusation of attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
The allegation claims he "dismembered" Mr Wright's body and disposed of it and in secret in a wooded area in the city's Castlemilk as well as Loch Lomond.
McColl, of Glasgow, further faces two charges of breaching bail.
McColl had initially appeared in court earlier this month where he had made no plea to the accusations.
