Peterborough set to appoint Robbie Savage as new manager

Peterborough United are expected to announce Robbie Savage as their new manager today.

Following discussions, Forest Green have granted Savage permission to speak with the League One club, and both clubs have reportedly reached a compensation agreement.

Savage is anticipated to succeed Luke Williams, who was dismissed nearly two weeks ago.

Although Peterborough United have scheduled a press conference for 1pm, they have not said who will be taking charge just yet.
