A Ferrari supercar was left a mangled wreck after its driver lost control in wet conditions.
The red Ferrari 296 was crushed in a crash on the M602 in Salford on Sunday and “luckily” the driver escaped injury, Greater Manchester Police said.
The bonnet of the high performance car, which can sell for up £260,000, was left in a pile of mangled metal, with a front wheel that was twisted out of shape while the other had completely snapped away.
Greater Manchester Police posted online: “Unfortunately there’s one less Ferrari 296 in the world this morning after the driver of this one lost control in the wet on the M602 in Salford.
“No injuries luckily but please drive to the conditions for everyone’s sake.”
