Emma Watson has been banned from driving

Emma Watson has been banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding.

The Harry Potter actress was doing 38 miles per hour in a 30 zone in Oxford in July last year.

The ban comes as she already had nine points on her licence.

Watson, who is famous for playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, appeared in High Wycombe magistrates court today, after previously pleading guilty on March 3 in the same court

It's believed that the speeding offense occurred whilst she was studying for a doctorate at the University of Oxford driving her Audi S3 in Banbury, on July 31 last year

The 35-year-old's also been fined over £1000
