11 year old boy dies following crash in Derby

Witnesses and dashcam footage are being sought following a tragic collision in Derby that led to the death of a cyclist.

The incident happened on 17th April just before 6.45pm on Nottingham Road, involving a bus, a car, and an 11-year-old boy on a bike.

Unfortunately, the boy succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

His family has been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.

Currently, no arrests have been made in relation to the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is urged to come forward to assist with the investigation.
