Dozens of firefighters are tackling a huge scrapyard fire in Flintshire.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said crews had been called to the scene in Talacre on Sunday morning (26 July).
Service Delivery Manager Jami Jennings said: "Firefighters are currently dealing with a significant fire at a scrap yard. Multiple fire crews are in attendance and are working hard to bring the incident under control.
"We currently have 75 Fire and Rescue Service personnel and partner agencies in attendance.
"For your safety, please avoid the area and keep roads clear to allow emergency vehicles access. If you can see or smell smoke, please keep your windows and doors closed and switch off any air conditioning or ventilation systems drawing air into your property."
People living nearby have been urged not to gather near the scene or attempt to enter the affected area.
Mr Jennings added: "We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the local community while crews continue their work. Further updates will be provided as the incident develops."
