Fourteen hurt in ride accident at Porthcawl’s Coney Beach Amusement Park

Fourteen people, including thirteen children, have been injured after an accident on a ride at Coney Beach Amusement Park in Porthcawl, Bridgend.

Emergency services were called to the seafront attraction at around 5.50pm yesterday evening.

Police say all of the injuries are minor, but some of those hurt have needed hospital treatment.

The park will remain closed today while officers and health and safety teams investigate.

People are being urged to stay away from the area to allow emergency crews to work.
