Child seriously injured after being struck by vehicle in Middlesborough

A child has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car in Middlesbrough.

The six-year old suffered fractures to their leg and pelvis on Princes Road at around 6:25am.

Cleveland police have stated

"We would appeal to anyone who saw the child walking along Princes Road from around 6.20am today or the collision itself – as well as anyone who has footage of the incident to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 019019."
