An 85-year-old British woman has reportedly died at a campsite in Portugal after what authorities have described as an "extreme wind phenomenon" as a result of Storm Claudia.
The woman has not yet been formally identified.
Portugal's President has offered his 'solidarity' to her loved ones following the incident.
Local media say powerful winds tore through the campsite in Albufeira, overturning dozens of caravans and sending furniture and household appliances flying across the grounds.
Two other people are believed to have been injured.
Emergency services are continuing to assess the damage as they continue their investigation.
