Man charged by police over alleged £4,000 meat theft

A man has been charged by police investigating reports of a frozen meat theft near Portsmouth.

On Thursday 24th October, £4,000 of produce was reportedly stolen from Relentless Steak & Lobster House, Port Solent, officers said.

Sonnie Marsh, 27, from Ashley Street in Southsea, has been issued a postal requisition and is due at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Thursday 10th July accused of burglary other than dwelling.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police said two other people who had been arrested in connection with the incident, a 42-year-old man and 45-year-old woman, have since been released with no further action taken.
