A brand new series of MAFS begins next week

With series 13 of Married At First Sight Australia wrapping up in the UK this week, E4 bosses have a special treat for fans of the show, to tide them over before the UK series returns later this year.

That's right, for the first time ever, Married At First Sight: USA will be airing on E4 from Monday 18th May, and series 19 has been dubbed 'the most toxic' series in MAFS history.

What is MAFS USA?

MAFS USA is the American version of hit dating series Married At First Sight, and if the synopsis for the opening episode is anything to go by, it sounds like it's going to be a dramatic one.

The synopsis reads: 'In Austin, ten singles prepare to marry complete strangers in a quest for love.

'As two couples say I do, sparks fly, but first impressions falter when one newlywed clashes with their in-laws and another faces a shocking twist with their new family.'

With the trailer now showing on E4, fans have been left shook as one bride appears to say: "There's something I need to tell you. I'm pregnant."

How can I watch it in the UK?

Series 19 begins at 8pm on Monday 18th May on E4, with the episode scheduled for one hour.

New episodes will then air every Monday-Friday at 8pm, before the new series of Celebs Go Dating.

How many episodes?

The USA series is a lot shorter than what MAFS fans are used to. Series 19 of MAFS USA only consists of 14 episodes, including the final vows and the reunion.

When was it originally on TV?

Series 19 of MAFS USA originally aired over in America between October-November 2025.

Where was it filmed?

Filming took place in Austin, Texas.

Unlike the UK and Australian series, the American version doesn't include as many cast members, with just five brides and grooms taking part.

MAFS USA series 19 includes three experts, including Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson, and Dr. Pia Holec. This is the last series they will appear in, with Peacock confirming a new set of experts will be brought in for future series.
