Lauren Wood breaks silence on Harrison Solomon's return to Love Island

He was one of the most-talked about Islanders during series 12 of Love Island back in 2025, but after quitting the villa to be with Lauren Wood, it looked like the pair were going to make a go of things in the outside world.

However, just months later in November 2025, Lauren and Harrison announced they'd split, and now he's the latest bombshell to enter the Love Island: All Stars villa!

As the 23-year-old arrived just in time for the sexy Heart Rate Challenge, Lauren has now spoken to our friends over at heatworld about his shock appearance on the show.

Revealing his entrance came as a 'huge shock', Lauren described Harrison as 'cruel', due to the fact the pair were still in contact up until the moment he flew to Cape Town.

Speaking exclusively to heatworld, she said: "From the moment we ended, we were in contact right up until he flew out to South Africa. It was a weird break-up because we broke up publicly, but we were very much involved with each other, speaking every single day on phone calls. I went around to his family's like a few weeks ago.

"It wasn't really a proper break-up because we didn't love each other. That wasn't the case. It was just a case of figuring things out for ourselves to then be back together in a better position."

Going on to admit she thinks she's been 'disrespected' by Harrison due to her having his back following last year's backlash, she added: "When I came out, they all didn't approve of it at the start because of what he'd done in the villa and I was like, 'No, he's not that person. You've all got him wrong.' I literally backed him as much as I could and was the only person that backed him through everything, so I think it's just the hurtful part is that he's just disrespecting me in the worst way possible.

"He genuinely couldn't have done anything more cruel than this, to speak up until the moment he got on the flight and to have never told me. Even now, I can't believe he's actually done this to me. I genuinely thought everyone got him wrong and now I just think, actually, it's just proved that everyone was right about him."

Just months after Harrison quit series 12 to reconcile with dumped Islander Lauren, the pair confirmed their relationship was over on 4th November last year.

Sharing a statement on behalf of the pair on social media, Lauren wrote: 'Hi everyone, Harrison & I have decided to no longer continue our relationship but will remain friends as everything was amicable and mutual.

'We share such amazing memories together, ones that not many can relate to. Please respect our privacy whilst we navigate going our separate ways.'

Whilst he only entered on last night's (Monday 9th February) show, Harrison wasted no time in getting to know the girls, pulling the likes of Belle, Lucinda and American girl Sher for a chat.
