It's been three weeks since the release of Zara Larsson's song 'Blue Moon', from her album 'Midnight Sun', and now she's finally released the music video. The singer also shared a heartfelt statement with her fans, revealing that despite not: 'popping off on streaming, in sales or on TikTok (yet!)', she has 'faith in this song'.

Announcing the release of the music video, Zara took to Instagram to share a lengthy statement saying: 'BLUE MOON VIDEO IS OUT!!!!

'I’m sitting mid flight with wonky WiFi so I hope this will be able to be posted in time. I honestly don’t know how we managed to fit the making of this incredible video into my hectic tour schedule, but I guess you always have time for things you really care for and believe in.

'This video is important to me. It is something I dreamed of doing ever since Midnight Sun the album came out a little over a year ago. Blue moon is one of my favorite songs, midnight suns sister, and she deserves love and care poured into her.' (sic)

She continued: 'Sometimes you have to MAKE people connect to the things you care about, because truth being told: blue moon isn’t necessarily popping off on streaming, in sales or on TikTok (yet!). It’s not a hit on the radio (yet!!!) and I haven’t really had anyone beg me for a video for this song, hah! It’s just me… my faith in this song and I.

'This is a manifestation project. Something we did with love and respect for the album. Something we did for fun with friends and great creatives. I BELIEVE in this song so much that I believe that me loving it will make the world love it just as much.

'The journey of putting this together has been so inspiring and amazing and I can’t wait to keep going forward on this path of love and the joy of creating incredible things. Let’s spread the blue moon propaganda and show the world what is achievable with a dream and faith in yourself! A long thank you post for everyone involved coming soon…' (sic)
